After a year of personal "introspection", you may find yourself standing on the center stage of your life right now . . . whether you're ready or not! The best way to describe this year is an integral "turning point" in your life. It's important to use the experience and wisdom you have gained from your past to plant new seeds for the next chapter of your life. Probably the most uncomfortable thing about 2008, is that the wheels of change have already been set in motion . . . whether you were prepared or not. This is a year that a sudden move or job change could come forward or perhaps a real "turn around" in a current relationship or situation in your life.
This can also be a very "social" year, after a year of solitude. You may feel much more social and crave more outgoing experiences and opportunities. New opportunities of all sorts will now be presenting themselves to you and you will be in a position to see them where you haven't been in the past.
It's a year you could start reaping the benefits from past projects you've put into motion. Many things that you have initiated in "The Year of The Emperor", 2002 or "The Year of The Chariot", 2007 will come to fruition. You may also notice you are getting more recognition for the work you do, whether you are comfortable with the lime light or not. Expect to be in the public eye more.
Along with things from the past coming to fruition, it is a great year to initiate new projects . . plant new seeds! Set goals, make plans, visualize, dream . . . and dream big! it is also a great year to "learn something new"; educational pursuits are highlighted. For all you writers out there, 2008 is a great year for communicating new ideas and publishing any projects. This is a year meant to deepen your commitment to changing your life for the better.
Don't forget the "wheel" is always turning, so expect the unexpected . . . literally. Things from the past may pop up, especially stuff from ten years ago . . . so, if you haven't completed something with someone, who turns up out of the blue in 2008, now is the time. Complete old cycles and focus on a new, more "fortunate" direction for your life.
Of course, being "The Wheel of Fortune Year" means it can be a year of unexpected fortune, and for some of us, that may mean unexpected financial gain or financial gain from some "stroke of luck". The best way to capitalize on this, is pay attention and be present!
On a global level, I can't think of a more desperate time of needed change. As we all visualize, dream, and plant seeds for our own "personal" futures, I believe it is equally important to visualize, plant and set goals for a future filled with universal awareness, in regards to this planet, how we choose to live our lives and how we interact with one another. What we do today will shape all of the tomorrows for the next ten years to come. By connecting with the will of the masses, we can effectively move through the fear we have been force fed by the few. Fear and violence has dictated this planet, our lives, our country, our health, our bodies, our political system, our economy and even how we relate to each other for too long! I would ask you each to consider putting into effect "one" change . . . no matter how small, a change that could help us as a collective. Whether you volunteer, donate, change your life in some way that heals the planet or come forward in a bigger way, we need to join together and take responsibility for the things we deny because they aren't pretty to look at or know about. We do have the power to change the planet . . . to effectively heal the planet. What you put into motion this year "will make a difference". "You" matter and "you" make a difference . . . so put your change in motion and sit back and see what the "Wheel of Fortune" brings back to you.
